"My wife and I went on the Rosy with captain Jose and first mate Obeth. It has always been a dream of mine to catch a marlin, and these guys worked really hard to get us one! They work great as a team, the captain was able to spot things in the water we couldn't even see, and knew just where to fish! They really tended to our separate needs and were very informative and friendly! Also caught a nice dorado! My wife got sea sick and we had to cut the trip short, but 2 1/2 hours was all we needed to make my dream come true! 9 foot striped marlin! Also saw a couple blue marlin we were trying to hook just before I had to make the decision to head back. Obeth got my wife some ice and a rag which really helped her, and when it was time to dispatch the marlin, he sent her up top to spot fish with the captain so she didn't have to see it bludgeoned ( gills were torn up too bad to release) I thought that was a classy move! Got back to the dock and they had Gray's taxidermy meet us there to give us a quote to have it mounted. Cleaned the mahi mahi (dorado) for us which we froze and brought back to Colorado in a carry on bag. After landing that marlin I didn't know whether to throw up from exhaustion or cry cause I was so happy! Just expect to pay for freshly caught live bait on the way out to sea. As soon as the captain saw the marlins interested in what we were trolling, Obeth threw the live bait at them and worked it violently to get a strike. Totally worth it! Our trip is summed-up in one word...EPIC! Our captain took us immediately to one of his hottest spots, and within 30 minutes we had fish on board. His first mate was attentive, respectful, and the two of them were a well seasoned team with a combined 40 years experience in the local waters. The boat was clean, safe, equipped with a turbo diesel that was reliable and fast. They went the extra mile for us to make sure we not only had fun, but learned some things as well. The booking process was simple, fast, and easy. My first call was to another charter in which the person on the phone couldn't give me any details about the trip except where to show up. With Cabo Fishing my questions were answered in detail, our contact at the dock was on time, professional and prepared, and our vessel was ready and waiting.
